Citrucel Methylcellulose Fiber Therapy for Regularity,

Indications
Helps restore and maintain regularity. Helps relieve constipation.
Also useful in treatment of constipation (irregularity) associated
with other bowel disorders when recommended by a physician. This
product generally produces a bowel movement in 12 to 72 hours.
Citrucel Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Each Caplet Contains (500 mg) Methylcellulose.
Inactive Ingredients: Crospovidone, Dibasic Calcium Phosphate, FD&C
Yellow No. 6 Aluminum Lake, Magnesium Stearate, Maltodextrin, Povidone,
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.
Citrucel Directions
Take each dose with 8 oz liquid. Age, Dose, Daily Maximum: Adults
& Children Over 12 Years - 2 Caplets (increase up to 4 as needed)
- Not to exceed 12 caplets per day (Refer to other directions).
Children (6 to 12 years) - 1 Caplet - Not to exceed 6 caplets per
day (Refer to other directions). Children Under 6 Years - Consult
a physician. Adult Dose: Begin with 2 caplets and may be increased
up to 4 as needed with 8 ounces of liquid. Not to exceed 12 caplets
per day. Two adult doses of Citrucel Caplets (4 caplets) equals
one scoop of Citrucel Powder. Children (6-12 years): Take one caplet
with 8 ounces of liquid, up to six times per day. Not to exceed
6 caplets per day. The dosage requirement may vary according to
the severity of constipation. Drinking another glass of water is
helpful. Children Under 6 Years: Consult a physician. Take this
product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 ounces (a full glass)
of water or other fluid. Taking this product without enough liquid
may cause choking. See warnings. Store at room temperature 15-30
degrees C (59-86 degrees F). Protect contents from moisture.
Safety Information
Consult a physician before using any laxative product if you have
noticed a sudden change in bowel habits which persists for two weeks.
Unless directed by a physician, do not use laxative products when
abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present. Discontinue use
and consult a physician if rectal bleeding or failure to produce
a bowel movement occurs after use of any laxative product. Unless
recommended by a physician, do not exceed recommended maximum daily
dose. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than
a week unless directed by a physician. If sensitive to any of the
ingredients, do not use. Taking this product without adequate fluid
may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may
cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in
swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty
in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate
medical attention. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

Customer Review: Citrucel is the best fiber
supplement/constipation remedy in the market. It ensures regularity
and doesn't produce any gas or bloating like other popular products
such as Metamucil. It tastes great and it is easy to dilute in water.
It doesn't stick to the glass like other fibers.
It can be expensive, but it is worth every penny. Regularity
will improve your mood, your skin, your energy, and prevent the
risk of colon cancer. It will help your body detox, and keep getting
rid of toxins on a regular basis.
Just make sure to consult with your Dr in order to make sure
you have regular constipation or IBS, and not another problem. Also,
drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, as fiber absorves water
in the colon (2 liters per day or more is pretty good).

to take and have done wonders for my digestive system. Its far easier
to take the tablets as compared to the powder that Citrucel sells.
After a week of regular usage, I can see a difference in my skin,
my skin looks clearer and I feel much more energetic. The reason
I gave the product 4 stars is because its rather expensive. However
it does what it claims! Can't ask for much more
